About Cosmo Park
Cosmo Dog Park is a special oasis that has captured and celebrated the unique bond between dogs and humans. The story centers around our most famous K9, a local hero named Cosmo who was our first police dog. The park is not only named after Cosmo, but it is inspired by her, our K9 team, and the kinship we have in Gilbert with our dogs of all shapes and sizes. Cosmo’s story of love and dedication is repeated every day in every household with a dog in the family. Every child who visits the park learns from her presence throughout the park, and a plaque in her honor, the important lessons of bravery and loyalty to help them develop strong character. The Animal Guardian Network (AGN) was founded in October of 2007. We started as a small group of animal lovers networking to assist animals in need. We incorporated in August 2008 and received our 501(c)(3) status in March 2009. Our mission was as it is today; providing a lifeline for animals in need and disadvantaged pet guardians.

Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center Open House
Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center
North of Pinnacle Peak Road
west of I-17 in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona 85080-2386
The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering the public a rare glimpse into the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center.
Come out to our free open house on Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
“Visitors will have the opportunity to see bobcats, ringtails, eagles, reptiles and many other animals, view educational displays, and meet wildlife experts,” said Sandy Cate, coordinator of the center. “It’s a great opportunity to see wildlife up close.”
The Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center is a wildlife triage, treatment and rehabilitation facility operated by Game and Fish in cooperation with the nonprofit Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center Auxiliary. Its original focus, when founded in 1983, was on treating and rehabilitating sick and injured wildlife.
Although the center continues to provide immediate triage and rehabilitation services—more than 1,000 sick or injured animals are brought to the facility annually—emphasis has shifted more toward wildlife education. Staff and volunteers conduct educational outreach programs at events and schools across the state, reaching more than 100,000 Arizonans a year.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department was the first government agency to include the component of wildlife rehabilitation into its program.
The Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center is located north of Pinnacle Peak Road just west of I-17 in Phoenix. It is on the same property as the Adobe Mountain Juvenile Detention Center. Officers and volunteers will be giving directions for parking once at the facility.
Admission and parking for the open house are free and food will be available for purchase. For more information about the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center, go to www.azgfd.gov/wildlifecenter

Rascally Rabbit Rescue
and Critter Haven of Arizona, Inc.
If you want to meet a certain rabbit at any of our adoption events, please email us and let us know which pet and which event so we can take him/her to that event. Feel free to take a second to get to know all our adoptables on our adoption page or through Bunspace. Adoptions and events take place across the state.
We rescue rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas and mice. We then provide vet care, food, shelter, love, while searching for the pet's forever home.
We have a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Every holiday season, starting after Thanksgiving, we participate in gift wrapping for donations at a few different stores and always need volunteers.
Note that we're looking for volunteers for fundraisers and foster homes, it would be a big help. We don't have money for a shelter, so we only use foster homes and need more homes to save more animals. For more info, visit us at
